If you have a Printer-Point printer, every time a customer orders from your Shopify website, a receipt will be automatically printed with all the details needed to prepare the order (name, address, phone number, items, options, ...)
Shopify uses Webhook to send messages / data from your Shopify website to an external app through an URL.
How to print receipts automatically
- Compatible Printers
You can add as many Printer-Point printers as you need and you will be able to control their settings from a unique Expedy Dashboard.
- Settings in Shopify
In Shopify, go to Settings > Notifications > Webhooks
Event : "Order Create"
s= your API SID
t= your API TOKEN
p= UID of the printer
You can find API informations in your Expedy Dashboard, or you can use the URLs to integrate your CMS available in the Dashboard > Imprimantes (Printer)> Choose the printer > copy the URL for Shopify.
Customized your receipts
You can add your details on the receipts (logo, address, website, ...).
You can print the same receipt on another identical printer (tandem function) and you can also add a phone number to received an alert when a new order is created / printed.
You can use the API to have a more personalised receipt, by creating your own connector.
